Next month there will be no more Pai at the FCC

Big changes to the U.S. telecom industry are on the way . On January 20th, 2021, the day that Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States, Chairman Pai will be leaving the agency that he ran for four years. Surprisingly, Pai was actually nominated to the FCC in 2012 by President Barack Obama who was asked to do so by Senate Republicans. Eventually, Pai was appointed FCC chairman when Donald Trump became president and he became known for his decision to repeal Net Neutrality.
